With over 300 homes in three high-rise buildings, American Plaza Towers (APTCA) is situated near Portland State University, Oregon Health Sciences University, and a new light rail spur crossing the Willamette River.

Laceleaf Maple, pruned in the Japanese style, graces the entrance to Madison Tower. All pruning to fifteen feet above grade is in-contract.

Organic lawn management includes regular lime and organic fertilizer applications, and the use of electric mowers, trimmers and blowers with clippings recycled.

The Lincoln Tower entrance is flanked by mature trees as well as a variety of planters. Plant material is rotated as needed in planters throughout the site.

Rhododendrons and azaleas, rejuvenated from past neglect, welcome residents and guests at the primary street entrance.
