The finalized design incorporated the clients' requests for an outdoor kitchen area, spa with water feature, two fire elements and outdoor lighting. Boulders and fossils are placed throughout the design to showcase the owner's passion and profession as a geologist.

This after photo at the same angle shows the new space and how the tree was protected and incorporated into the finished project. This tree is very meaningful to the owners. The new kitchen is tucked beneath their pre-existing roofline.

This fossil was provided to us by the client and protectively placed beneath glass on the kitchen countertop. Working with fossils definitely added a level of complexity and stress to the project.

A large boulder was cored out and used for the fire pit. Seat walls surround this area and provide additional seating and define the space
