This is the view once you enter the gates at Polo Club. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the nearly two acres of manicured turf that would rival any major league team. You also are met by the 40 million gallon pond with fountains that is home to more than 30 large Koi fish.

Early morning walks are a must for the owners as sunlight shimmers through the vibrant foilage on the mature trees and shrubs that surround you. Boundless color from annuals and contrasting texture from grasses and perennials cause you to pause and enjoy the scenery. Be sure to grab a fresh apple or plum as you meander through.

Trees, shrubs, grasses, perennials and annual flowers were selected to complement the Tuscan style architecture while creating outdoor living areas that are private, enjoyable and functional.

Attention to detail is a must on this property as you can see from this photo. Hardscapes and plantings meld together around the cascading formal water feature. The junipers are perfectly shaped and colorful annuals add to the scenery. They all have intent and purpose to blend perfectly with the formal surroundings and architectural style of the estate.

In the rear of the property can be found a quad-shaped reflecting pond with central jet in the formal courtyard. All paths lead guests into the center for an amazing view of the finely manicured grounds.

The showpiece of the property is the grand pond with jets spraying regally into the air. Look carefully and you will see a second water feature that mimics the granduer of the first... just smaller in size. It's a breathtaking view at sunset with the subtle glow from the fountains.

A sheer sheet of water gracefully falls from the wall into a reflecting pond on the lower level. Annuals are deadheaded on a weekly basis and pruning is done every other week to keep this estate party-ready at all times.

This bronze sculpture is located near where the family relaxes by the pool. It depicts a playful mood which calls out for brightly colored flowers. A mixture of sun-loving annuals and late blooming perennials allows for a full season of happiness- just the perfect accent when enjoying summer activities.
-
Adjacent to the formal courtyard is a pool and spa area that rivals the finest resorts in town. All water features along with the pool and spa are cleaned on a weekly basis. The gounds include activities such as bocce ball, ping pong and, of course, swimming. Or simply lounge with a good book and enjoy the spectacular scenery.

Every year, a few starter pumpkin plants are carefully cultivated in a 30' x 30'garden in hopes to grow the largest pumpkin in town. With help from the homeowner, our team manages the patch, pulling buds, to focus on and babysit the final contenders. During this growing time, we put up tents to protect them from hail, squirrels and birds. Last year's winner weighed in at nearly 500 lbs.

The clients were very specific on their wishes for certain flower types, shapes and colors. We were provided a color palette of reds, oranges and deep purples. The formality of the estate and landscape lends itself to a design of bountiful plantings of select flower varieties and colors. It is every designer’s dream to work on a project of this magnitude and grandeur.
