Tucked in a quiet North Dallas cul-de-sac, this residence has been under our care since 2020. Its scale and precision demand more than standard maintenance, so our team provides both full-service care and a dedicated daily crew member to keep every detail immaculate.

From the beginning, the client envisioned a garden alive with textures, vibrant color, and year-round variety. They wanted an outdoor space that invited them to linger, gather, and feel like a natural extension of their home.

(Before photo) When we first assumed responsibility, the garden’s potential was hidden beneath declining perennials that lacked consistency and seasonal impact. The client asked for a design that preserved evergreen structure while introducing vibrant, sustainable color. Our challenge was to honor the strong bones of the garden while weaving in new layers to unlock its full beauty.

(After) We enhanced the beds with a mix of bold and refined plantings, pairing Agave ‘Blue Glow’ with soft drifts of Catmint and reinforcing structure with Boxwoods, Wintercreeper, and Drift Roses. Every element was chosen to harmonize with the client’s vision, while soil improvements and selective pruning restored plant health. The result is a landscape of balance — bold focal points set against subtle seasonal rhythms.

(Before photo) The original design faced challenges, with nearly 95% of the beds planted in perennials. While these brought moments of seasonal beauty, the garden lacked year-round consistency and gradually lost its impact. The client envisioned something more sustainable that would offer color and structure across all seasons, while unifying the existing Boxwood globe path with the adjoining bed.

(After) To address the original over reliance on perennials, we introduced evergreen anchors and seasonal layers, while preserving select perennials for natural flow. This created a timeless composition with year-round interest, blending movement, texture, and color in a way that feels both fresh and enduring.

Today, the garden flows with serenity and cohesion. What was once inconsistent now thrives as a polished, resilient outdoor living environment that reflects both artistry and function. Evergreen structure, seasonal color, and layered textures create interest throughout the year.

(Before Photo) The courtyard presented a different challenge. Past stopgap fixes left it without identity, and though many plants survived, the space lacked cohesion and design intent. As a focal point visible from inside the home, it needed transformation to match the elegance of the larger garden.

(After) Through strategic replanting, we gave the courtyard a clear identity. Evergreens such as Boxwoods and Variegated Pittosporum established a year-round structure, while layered seasonal color echoed the rhythm of the Maples above. The result is a centerpiece that delights from every angle, unifying the property while elevating the view from indoors.

At the front of the home, synthetic turf provides a consistently refined appearance while complementing the property's highly curated landscape. Selected for its year-round performance and clean presentation, it creates a seamless transition between the architecture and surrounding gardens, ensuring the home's first impression remains polished in every season.

In the fall of 2025, this client asked us to design a pumpkin display to complement the home’s Halloween décor. Our team created a show-stopping display featuring more than 3,300 hand-placed pumpkins.

To add depth and dimension, our crew built custom risers, a sleek alternative to traditional hay bales, creating a layered design that perfectly elevated the décor. We incorporated chrysanthemums and other autumn perennials into the design for pops of color through the display.

Maintaining a property of this scale requires more than scheduled visits. Beyond routine maintenance, our contract includes shrub replacements and twice-weekly porter service. This unique relationship allows us to address issues instantly, preserving the level of refinement the client expects and ensuring the landscape remains presentation-ready every day of the year.

Every detail of the maintenance program reflects a commitment to excellence. We require mature, well-grown material for all installations, and seasonal color arrives on-site with at least 80% bloom. These standards, combined with daily stewardship and continual refinement, ensure the landscape remains as vibrant and welcoming today as the client originally envisioned.
