An outdoor dining area was placed between both the indoor and outdoor kitchen to act as a connection point and take advantage of the stunning mountain views.
-
This is a before shot of the project prior to beginning any construction on the landscape.
-
This is an after shot of the completed project, show the outdoor structure completely mimics the flow and architecture of the home, truly acting as an extension from the home.
-
In order to connect the house to the extending 2000 acres, a gravel path was placed along the perimeter of the landscape, to allow easy access for both horses and off-road vehicles.
-
Sun decks were added outside of the master bedroom and guest rooms. The wall extends throughout the entire of the patio, to create the allusion of each space being its own personal room. The wall also gives dimension to the home from afar, creating that the rock wall is actually a part of the home.
-
This view you can see how the rock wall gives dimension to the all wood design of the house, while acting as an outdoor hallway from the interior bedrooms to the outdoor spaces.
-
All outdoor lighting was LED and added throughout the entire property.
-
A paver path leads to the front door entry with ranch style fencing to create boundaries for landscape limits.
-
An additional seating area was created near the hottub for a more casual dining setting for the family of four.
-
The paver patio was created with locally sourced stone which granted access to the lawn area under ADA compliance.
-
A fully functional outdoor kitchen was added with ice trays, warming trays, storage and a grill. One very large granite piece was used for the counter space to follow the curved lines and allowing bar seating for 12.
-
A TV was added above the kitchen which ascends into the ceiling for protection from harsh weather elements. The homeowner was very adamant to add this additional TV so various games could be enjoyed while using the bar seating.
-
A seat wall was placed between the outdoor living area and the hottub to create a boundary.
-
The fireplace was created with veneer, falling stone to match the rustic look of the interior fireplace. Pavers in front of the fireplace are rounded to accentuate the look and feel of the space.
-
This is an overall design of the project.
