    Regular pruning and diligent maintenance crews keep the appearance of arrival areas photo-ready at all times for guests.

    The Bermuda turf encircling the Swan Resort’s guest arrival area suffered from deep ruts left by previous contractors’ heavy equipment. Lighter, 32” walk behind mowers are now used by The Contractor on the resorts’ Bermuda turf.

    Guest walkways also serve as emergency vehicle access. They must be blown clean and kept free from debris each morning.

    Tropical and colorful perennial plantings are used to add color to guest areas.

    The resorts’ beach area must be raked each morning before 10am and policed for trash left behind by guests.

    The resorts are separated by a lake that also provides water access to the adjacent theme parks. Daily removal of lake debris is performed by Contractor staff.

    The Dolphin Resort, directly across the lake from the Swan Resort, is currently undergoing renovations. Frequent updates to the resorts require The Contractor to remain flexible when scheduling services.

    Swan and Dolphin Resorts are connected via a causeway bridge, lined with 50-foot Washingtonia Robusta palms.

    The Swan Resort recently updated its 2 interior event courtyards. Design and Installation services were provided by the Contractor.

    This courtyard is now being used as a wedding venue. The pergola and hardscape paver installation were subcontracted, with the Contractor installing tropical ornamentals and Bougainvillea for color.

    Even though the resorts are located in an very populated area, plant and turf damage from wildlife are commonly repaired by Contractor staff.

    The Dolphin Resort’s arrival area is also the welcome area for the resorts’ convention space. Here, tightly packed Coleus draw attention to a water and sculpture feature.

    The client expects a very high level of attention to detail, especially around arrival areas.

    The Dolphin Resort’s unique architecture and cascading fountain is accented by colorful Coleus, unifying the resort grounds’ appearance.
