This angled shot shows off the colorful annual plantings and some of the perennial plants that were included. The perennials were obviously not at their peak in some cases, however, they were included because of their being oft-used local plants and are also connected to Mary.

Here is a close- up of the Mary statue, flanked by Clematis vines. Again, Clematis are not at their peak this time of year (April), however they are one of the plants that are very strongly linked to the Virgin Mary.

Here you see visitors enjoying the gardens as the walk through. The paper the woman in the photo is holding is an information sheet the library provided visitors with more detailed information about Mary plants and gardens.
