The main entrance to the Capitol greets you with a beautiful array of color, back dropped by Burford Holly, Live Oak and Crepe Myrtle trees, while St Augustine turf thrives in the foreground.

Another area of pristine St Augustine turf, accompanied by Sycamore, Pecan, Live Oak, Red Bud, Magnolia, Cedar Elm, and Red Oak trees.

This aerial shot taken from the dome of the Capitol shows off just a fraction of the 250 trees sprawling throughout the grounds.

The west side of the Capitol is encircled by Zoysia and Bermuda turf.

Crisp lines are important for this state monument. This property is maintained with precision and perfection, and this photograph does a stunning job of showing that.

The east section of the Capitol grounds boasts an over 200-year-old Live Oak tree. St Augustine turf, Rose of Sharon, and Pecan, Red Oak and Red Bud trees are also featured.

Leading up to the Capitol's south doors is the Great Walk. This beautiful walkway is 25 feet wide, 500 feet long, lined with Texas Live Oaks, and connects the Capitol to one of Austin's most important streets - Congress Avenue.
