This homesite located in Larkspur, Colorado is set on a beautiful hillside with native scrub oak surrounding the house. The clients wanted a landscape that was a natural extension of the surrounding area while also taking advantage of the unprecedented surrounding views.

This shows the bunker house and guest house down by the equestrian center. Glo has over a dozen horses in her stables, so a water element was put in the middle of the equestrian site that doubled as a water trough for the horses.

This is a before picture where our team would plant with native seed to bring the natural landscaped up to the homesite edge.

These beds by the front home’s front entrance were planted with a succulent garden bleeding into the native plant material along the patio edge.

A dry-river bed was designed at the base of the steep hillside to aesthetically move water away from the homesite.

Beyond the daybed you can see how multiple stacked walls were added throughout the property to help with grading and making it possible to create different planting beds, adding more interest throughout the property.

Large planters were added to help bring color and soften the large doors that Kamil had shipped in from Morocco.

This indoor/outdoor dining area was created to give the clients a formal area to host and entertain guests.

This shot is taken from within the home showing how the outdoor courtyard is a natural extension of the home. The same porcelain pavers were used throughout scoring fluidity between all the spaced.

The large fire pit was added to give the clients a casual place to sit and enjoy large groups of friends.

The water feature was added to give visual interest while also giving off an enjoyable sound that can be enjoyed throughout the entire courtyard and even extending into the interior of the home.

This patio was created for more intimate use for Glo and Kamil and their family that would come to visit. This patio was raised on the upper deck off the entrance to their master suite.

This intimate patio has a fire bowl and built in spa where LED lighting was used so Glo and Kamil could utilize this space year-round and long into the evenings.
