Office front entries are maintained with a high level of detail by crews to keep the clean, modern look that was originally designed. Bi-weekly blowing of these areas are performed to ensure clean concrete areas and DG and mulch in kept in the beds.
-
Main entry includes Bermuda, Buffalo and Ryegrass which give a year round green look. Different water requirements for each of these types of turf proves a challenge to our Irrigation team on a regular basis. Multi-directional mowing at proper heights per turf species provides a clean look entering the property.
-
Crews perform trimming on the 8,000+ linear feet of shrubs and 40,000+ square feet of groundcover beds on a monthly basis.
-
Custom designed chemical programs that incorporate micronutrients, soil microbes and a balanced mixture of N-P-K are implemented in the turf/bed areas. Turf aeration is performed one time per year to allow water and nutrients to penetrate the high clay soil.
-
Tree maintenance is a constant issue for crews due to the 15,000+ pedestrians that walk the site on a daily basis.
-
Over 1,200+ cu yards of mulch are applied in the landscape beds and tree wells to maintain soil moisture on site. Numerous street medians are maintained by the crews on a weekly basis.
-
Strategically placed color beds by office entries are maintained by the deadheading of spent blooms on a weekly basis. Different types of pruning by hand pruners and hedge clippers are required for our crews to maintain a natural but maintained look without hard shearing in these areas.
-
Proper perennial care by the crews includes weekly deadheading and a summer cutback to ensure plants are consistently blooming during the hot part of the year.
-
Consisting of over 40+ acres of turf and 5+ acres of beds to maintain, the site is cared for by multiple crews and irrigation technicians on a weekly basis for the entirety of the year.
-
Maintaining over 3,000 trees that line streets, office entries and landscape areas keep crews busy throughout the year. A custom chemical program has been implemented to deep root fertilize these trees 2 times a year to help combat the high pH and clay content soils.
-
Crews utilize various types of machines such as push and walk behind mowers to maintain gathering areas to ensure the safety of pedestrians while working. DG areas are kept clean and weed free by hand and the use of organic herbicides.
