Over 250 trees were planted on the site: Elm, Holly, Oak, Cypress, Maple, Magnolia and Poplar. In addition, over 70,100 sq. ft of sod (Bermuda and Zoysia) was laid and over 100,000 sq. ft. of Hydroseed. Plantings consisted of over 20,300 sq. ft of beds.

The new headquarters’ site was thoughtfully developed to reflect Louisiana’s rich agricultural history, from the large exterior berm that represents the state’s levee system to the ponds and the building’s façade, which mimics the design of a traditional grain elevator. The large berms cosntructed also allowed for noise reduction and privacy from a busy boulevard which fronts the property.
