The majority of the rear courtyard areas that residents walk through is shaded heavily. The landscape maintenance contractor is a Weathermatic Platinum Premier Partner.

Foxtail Fern and pots of potato vine frame an entrance leading to the back outdoor gardens of the condominiums. Confederate Jasmine is shown growing on a trellis screening an entrance to an underground parking garage. The trellis requires weekly maintenance.

'Little Gem' Magnolia trees help screen the private pool area from other neighboring residential condominium complexes that fill the Houston skyline in the mid-town area. The maintenance contract requires a plant health care program providing tree fertilization and systemic insecticide to prevent scale on the Magnolias. Systemic or root drench versus foliar applications of fertilizers and insecticides are used throughout the complex to prevent any chemical drift or staining.

-
All the maintenance work is performed by a crew of four trained to be detail oriented. Look at the care taken to keep separation of the perfectly trimmed Dwarf Yaupon hedge from the Asian Jasmine groundcover and Encore Azaleas. No weeds can be present and the paver drive and parking areas must stay clean and debris free.
-
Coral Drift Roses are constantly dead-headed to encourage new blooms. The Monkey Grass border is cut back each Spring in mid to late February to re-flush new crisp foliage.
